We are experimenting with new socio-physical structures that aim to make the world a better place.

// Our Vision

We want to ensure humanity can survive, thrive, and flourish alongside the technologies it creates.

We begin by building VILLAGES where ambitious people can live together, develop frontier systems across disciplines, and use what they build in real conditions.

Technology should make people more sovereign, not more dependent.

Technology should make people more sovereign, not more dependent.

That principle guides everything we build. We want humans to survive, thrive, and flourish - even as the world changes fast and technology grows more powerful. If what we’re building doesn’t help with that, we don’t do it.

Curiosity

Curiosity

Follow the question, not the hype. Explore ideas, run experiments, check assumptions. We don't stop at what sounds exciting — we care about what actually works.

Intellectual Honesty

Intellectual Honesty

Form beliefs from evidence, not wishful thinking. Seek out what contradicts you. When wrong, say so. When unsure, say that too.

Transparency

Transparency

Show reasoning, not just conclusions. Explain decisions and how you reached them. Let people trust the work without needing to trust you personally.

Integrity

Integrity

What you say, build, and do should line up. When they don't, fix it instead of defending it. One unbroken line.

Open Source

Code, designs, and ideas should be easy to inspect, improve, and reuse. Systems last longer when many people can see inside them.

Distributed Power

Give power away, don't accumulate it. Build systems people can understand, question, and leave. Subtract yourself over time.

People should understand the systems they rely on, question them, and leave if they want to. We don't believe in concentrating power. Over time, we try to give it away — not hold on to it.

Eric Alston

> Professor - University of Wyoming and University of Colarado.

Studies how societies create rules without rulers—from frontier settlers staking land claims to blockchain networks coordinating strangers. Law degree from Chicago, MA in Economics from Maryland. Advises governments on constitutional design, crypto protocols on governance, and helped create one of the world's first data trusts. Turns out property rights and organizational problems look remarkably similar whether you're dealing with 19th-century miners or Bitcoin validators.

> CSO - Decode Age.

Convinced that aging is biology's most complex puzzle and decided to solve it. MS in Drug Design from Edinburgh Napier. Started by studying freshwater bacteria metagenomics, pivoted to decoding human longevity because apparently fish weren't aging interestingly enough. Co-founded India's first longevity company in 2021, pitched biological age vs. chronological age on Shark Tank India, secured funding. Now runs gut microbiome research and develops NAD+ boosters while presumably refusing to age gracefully himself.

Gaurav Singh

> CEO, Blockchain for Impact.

Trained psychiatrist from NIMHANS who discovered the ultimate preventive mental health intervention: fixing India's broken healthcare system. Runs Blockchain for Impact, a Rs 4,000+ crore fund that started with a pandemic tweet by Sandeep Nailwal and evolved from distributing oxygen to distributing more than INR 20 crore annually in National Science Prizes. In a country where blockchain and crypto typically triggers skepticism, he's using it to partner with IITs, IISc and other top institutions in India on the $15M+ BFI-Biome program—proving the technology can fund medical research, not just speculative assets.

Suramya Asthana

> Mazumdar-Shaw Longevity Fellow & Lead Coordinator, Longevity India (IISc)

Studying cellular aging, then discovered India's longevity supplement market was completely unregulated and Western aging biomarkers might not apply to Indians. Now leads Longevity India at IISc, manages the BHARAT Study on aging in healthy Indians. Also sources women's health grants at AthenaDAO. Basically decided that studying how cells age wasn't enough, the entire country needed better aging science infrastructure.

Vitalik Buterin

> Founder Ethereum and Zuzalu

Philosopher writing on coordination problems, privacy infrastructure, and cypherpunk values. Created Zuzalu - a two-month pop-up city experiment in Montenegro where 200+ technologists lived together exploring longevity, governance, and zero-knowledge proofs. He’s a philanthropist funding AI safety research, longevity biotech, full-stack open source, culture experiments. Also happens to run Ethereum, the second-largest blockchain platform. Believes technology should make humans the steering wheel, not replace them entirely.

Ameen Soleimani

> CTO, 0xbow Co-founder, Reflexer Finance; Summoner, MolochDAO

Chemical engineer turned cypherpunk builder. Founded MolochDAO—the influential minimal DAO with rage-quit mechanisms that funded Ethereum public goods. Co-created RAI, a stablecoin so radically decentralized it's not pegged to the dollar, only to itself. Now building Privacy Pools at 0xbow - privacy tools that prove you're not a criminal without revealing who you are. Also runs IranUnchained, distributing humanitarian aid.

Marek Olszewski

> CEO, cLabs; Co-founder, Celo & Self Protocol

MIT researcher who co-founded Locu (acquired by GoDaddy), became VP of Engineering, then quit to build blockchain for people without bank accounts. Co-created Celo—a mobile-first payments network designed for flip phones in villages, not mining rigs in Silicon Valley. Send money to phone numbers like Venmo, pay gas fees with any token. Migrated from Layer 1 to Ethereum Layer 2 in 2023 because pragmatism beats tribalism. Now also building Self Protocol—prove you're human using your passport's NFC chip and zero-knowledge proofs, without showing Google your full ID. Used by Google Cloud and Aave.

The idea that we should accelerate technologies that defend and expand human agency — open-source tools, privacy infrastructure, decentralized systems — rather than those that centralize control. It was coined by Vitalik Buterin. Grama's tech thesis is d/acc.

Hubs are urban spaces — co-working, labs, community programming, residencies - all decentralzied. Villages are full residential communities with tech community spaces where people live and work. Our flagship hub is an entire village and is in development. Hubs (like in Bangalore) are launching now.

There is no token yet. We do not know if there will ever be one. The allocation is an indicator - if and when we release a community token, Citizens and Founding Citizens will have reserved pools. We'll announce details if and when that happens. No gurantees of any profits. No gurantees that we will even launch it.
